University Preparation
Special to Ichthus, university preparation is a compulsory program that students have to attend as a scheduled lesson. The program provides a systematic approach towards exploring undergraduate study at universities. It is not uncommon that good students miss out on acceptance to good universities or scholarships due to the lack of experience, awareness and preparation. Our team of experienced counselors have build a database of knowledge and network to help our students in their journey in preparation to their choice universities from personal statements, interview coaching and deciding on majors.
Making an Impact
Our promise@Ichthus was to grow young men and women that will make a positive impact and contribution to wherever God intended for them to go and to bring glory to His name at the workplace and professional ministers in whatever capacity they are. In just 20 years, here are some of alumni who have made an impact in their society. We are proud of every single one of them.
Richard Umboh
Ichthus: Grades 1- 12.
A Cambridge Excellence award recipient for combined science, Richard was the 1st graduating cohort of grade 12 students in Ichthus. He went on to pursue Aerospace Engineering at University of California and is now an Engineer working in the miitary & defense industry in the USA.
Regina Jasmine
Be The B.E.S.T.
When Regina joined Ichthus primary, she was a shy little girl and never sure of herself then. In secondary school, she decided she wanted to enroll into the top universities Indonesia and decided to focus on the national curriculum. Her teachers however encouraged her to combine the Cambridge A levels with her subjects from national curriculum. She was uncertain if that was a good decision but affirmation from her teacher gave her courage to do so. She did very well in both curriculum and eventually bagged the Cambridge excellence award for psychology and this helped in her decision to study political science at university. When asked why political science, Regina said that it's her way to help her nation by being involved in politics. All the best Regina. Quoting your farewell speech

Today Regina is pursuing political science in the University of Indonesia and also the president of the AISEC committee.
Ah Yeong Jeon
Ah Yeong Jeon was accepted to study in all 8 top engineering universities in Korea eventually choosing to study chemical engineering at South Korea’s prestigious SKY universities, Yonsei University. Ah Yeong Jeon joined us in early secondary school as she wanted to find an environment that can challenge her as well as to improve her level of English proficiency.
Nicholas Walters
Nicholas joined Ichthus when the school just opened. Fast forward 20 years from now, Nicholas is still keeping close contact with his teachers (they sure left an impact in his life) and recently updated us that he is the 1st officer for Airbus A320 and A321 in Qatar Airways. He enjoys every single flight and aspires to be an examiner to teach Policies, Procedures and Techniques. He recalled how he enjoyed his school days in Ichthus and that has always taught him to approach life with optimism.
